The World Plastic Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to removing plastic from streets and oceans. Their mission is to lead by example and inspire global efforts to eliminate plastic pollution. They required a fresh, impactful branding to effectively convey their commitment and guide societal change.
ideation
For the World Plastic Council's branding, we concentrated on key themes crucial to their mission: council, plastic, safety, health, and removal. The image below showcases just a few of the concepts presented to the client, though hundreds of options were developed during the ideation phase. The final chosen logo, visible above, is designed as a half council chamber with a gradient to symbolize the removal of plastic.
design
Once the branding was finalized, we developed a range of media materials for the World Plastic Council. This included a comprehensive brand kit, business cards, a plastic recycling bin, and a van design. These items were essential for their daily operations. We ensured that all printed materials, such as the business cards, were produced on eco-friendly paper to align with their sustainability goals.

In the near future, we’ll be collaborating with the World Plastic Council once again. They were so pleased with our work that they’ve requested our assistance in developing a website. We’re excited to continue supporting their mission and creating a digital presence that will further amplify their efforts to combat plastic pollution.
