the wizardly workshop
discovery
The Wizardly Workshop is an Etsy-based shop specializing in TTRPG (tabletop roleplaying game) products, including custom dice, figurines, miniatures, character sheets, and more. As the company grew, they decided it was time to rebrand and sought a budget-friendly solution for both their branding and digital presence.
ideation
To truly capture the essence of this magical shop, I immersed myself in their fantastical world, donning my metaphorical wizard's hat. I sketched numerous logo concepts, eventually discovering the design you see below. The client was enchanted by the result, and we established their core branding, featuring a mystical, cool blue color that perfectly reflects their enchanting products.
design
Branding was just the beginning for The Wizardly Workshop. To distinguish themselves from other Etsy sellers, they also needed a social media kit, a sizing guide, and shipping box designs. We started by sketching out various concepts and went through several iterations. Ultimately, the client chose the designs you see here, which effectively helped them stand out in the marketplace.
setting-up
Development wasn't required since The Wizardly Workshop was based on Etsy, but they still needed assistance. The shop was unfamiliar with the marketing tools and systems necessary to promote their products effectively. We guided them through using these platforms, provided mockups, and created easy-to-use systems to help them navigate and utilize their new branding and marketing materials.
feedback
The client was thrilled with the results, and within just two months, they reported a 30% increase in orders. Their rebranding efforts significantly set them apart from the competition, leading to an improvement in their reviews from 85% positive to 92% positive. Overall, the team was very pleased with the outcome, and there is a strong possibility of collaborating with them again in the future.
launch
A magical shop's launch called for a celebration that matched its enchanting theme. We marked the occasion at a Harry Potter-themed bar, enjoying drinks and sharing laughs. The festive atmosphere also sparked discussions about the potential for creating a personal website in the near future.
