discovery

New brand, new digital experience.

New brand, new digital experience.

For my course final, we were tasked with creating a brand and applying it across various media. I designed the logo and was responsible for developing all digital assets, including the website. The assignment focused on Stilo, a new brand aiming to stand alongside established names like Stussy and Patta. The project required comprehensive branding and multiple media applications, culminating in the creation of a dynamic and engaging website.

Initial stages of branding, and web.

Initial stages of branding, and web.

First, my group began by sketching and exploring various branding concepts. After presenting our ideas to the client, they selected my logo, which we then refined and developed further. This branding served as the foundation for the other media applications. We created a brand guide to ensure consistency throughout the development process. I was responsible for the website, creating multiple wireframes and prototypes before finalizing the design featured on this page.

design

Being unique, and breaking boundaries.

Being unique

& breaking boundaries.

Stilo aimed to stand out by embracing a more creative approach, even though their style was reminiscent of brands like Stussy. This vision required the logo, branding, and products to reflect a distinctive sense of creativity. I incorporated elements from the logo into image borders, buttons, and other design components, crafting a comprehensive design system that infused the entire project with a unique and imaginative flair.

development

Working prototype.

Working prototype.

Typically, this is when the development phase begins. However, since this was a project for my exams, I was evaluated solely on design and design choices. Therefore, for the development phase, I focused on creating an interactive prototype. I designed a series of button animations, micro-interactions, and other key elements, resulting in a fully functional website prototype.

feedback

With honors.

With honors.

I received excellent feedback from my team, which I incorporated into the final deliverable. Most of the feedback focused on ensuring consistency across our team’s designs. Client feedback was delayed since the client was technically my college, and we had to wait until after the exams were returned. Ultimately, I was awarded a 9/10 and completed my course with honors!

launch

On to new things.

On to new things.

Although the project didn't require a formal launch, there was still plenty to celebrate. My entire team graduated, and I earned my degree with honors. We celebrated our achievements with a well-deserved party, marking the end of a successful journey together.
